While the update brings many things for builders, mini games and potential redstone advancements, it doesn’t feel “complete” to me. A few things come to mind when I hear “sulfur” and a few things I want to attach that I’ve heard from the community.
* Sulfur (item, crafting material): sulfur blocks can be broken down into 4 sulfur with a range of crafting recipes that include:
* Fertilized soil: 4 dirt, 4 sulfur, 1 water bucket (concrete powder recipe), crops planted give fortune-like outputs when broken, stacks with fortune tools.
* Nausea potions: awkward potion and sulfur in a brewing stand make nausea potions.
* “Anti-warden” item: this item explodes like TNT but does no damage to mobs or the player, but emits a bang and flashes enemies and players nearby, along with a potent smell that the warden does not like, temporarily stunning his senses and giving you a chance to escape.
Along with these recipes, sulfur can be used to make GUNPOWDER
* gunpowder: crafted with 1 charcoal, 1 sulfur, 1 sand.
To go along with the explosive aspect of sulfur, we can even make volatile rocket stars, which are made by adding sulfur in the firework rocket stars recipe that do increased damage when struck by or fired by a crossbow with the same blast radius (big or small rocket star)
Sulfur could even be used to make a fuse for TNT, by combining it with gunpowder to make the fuse, it can be placed on the ground or on walls and can blow up TNT and be burnt away after ignited.
