Smelting Cinnabar should explode the furnace, then mercury starts flowing where the furnace was.
Mercury is a type of fluid that no entity can get inside, behaving like a solid block (but it flows).
It could be picked up with a bucket, and non-undead entities will randomly get poison effect if on contact with it.
