Cinnabar and sulfur blocks are both intriguing ideas from Minecraft's sulfur caves biome, but they have potential use beyond making block sets. Here are some ideas for making cinnabar and sulfur more useful in the creative and survival worlds.
Cinnabar has two applications.
1. The first is as a crafting material to create red dye. This is comparable to how you create blue dye when crafting with lapis lazuli.
2. The final purpose for cinnabar is to trim your armor, which should be deep red or scarlet.
Sulfur has six applications.
1. The first use for sulfur is as a fertilizer for particular plants in the game.
2. The second use for sulfur is as a bleach to remove specific colored blocks from beds, carpets, and wool.
3. The third use for sulfur block is that it can create a bright blue fire when lit with flint and steel or a fire charge.
4. The fourth use of sulfur is to craft into sulfur torches, campfires, and lanterns. This is equivalent to the Copper Age game drop in 2025, which includes copper torches and lanterns.
5. The fifth use for sulfur is to combine it with charcoal to make gunpowder. This should make gunpowder easier to obtain in survival mode.
6. The final purpose for sulfur is to trim your armor, which should be bright pale yellow.
I hope they will consider some of the suggestions for the upcoming Chaos Cubed game drop, which will be released in 2026. Share your thoughts in the comments section.
