A toggled menu button to open or close your inventory to item intrusion. It can be key bound—say holding ctrl opens it, and when let up, closes. When closed, item entities are manually picked up by right clicking. A stack of varying item entities can be sifted through by scrolling over it—with each scroll bringing a new item to the forefront, enabling a right click or skip entirely.
In my opinion, this is the last step to solving the inventory crisis, allowing the combination use of allays/copper golems to clean up and organize large projects to be far more efficient(adding a function for the allay to pick up any item within its anchor point—instead of only one type—would also be beneficial).
