Now You are probably thinking, "What is redstone doing in this sulfur stuff?" and the answer is quite simple - batteries. Heres a little science lesson: Sulfuric acid is a type of acid used in many modern day products, including battries. Are you startimg to see what I mean.
Crafted from 4 iron ingots, 2 copper nuggets, a piece of sulfur powder, and 2 redstone, you will get a new block - a Redstone battery. Redstone torches and most other redstone emitters may emit a redstone from only 15 blocks, but if you place a redstone battery next to redstone, it will emit a redstone signal an entire 50 blocks! This may sound good, but theres a catch. Regular redstone wont work, you will need a new type of redstone - charged redstone. If you craft 8 redstone around a copper ingot, you will get 8 charged redstone. Also, redstone rails can be replaced by charged redtone rails by replacing the middle 2 gold with copper ingots. This makes the recipe slightly easier, but you would need a battery to power it.
