Craftable gunpowder

Heres the idea: You are spending houra killing creepers in caves tryong to get enough gunpowder for tnt, when you die. There needs to be an alternative way to obtain gunpowder. Thats where Salt comes in. Found underground, you can find veins of salt, about as common as gold. They have large veins though, and they become more common in sulfur caves. If you mine a salt block, it will drop 3 - 6 salt, which if you craft nine together, will give you back a salt block. Then, finally, if you combine coal (or charcoal), salt, and sulfur in a crafting table, you will get 5 gunpowder. I think this will be a nice, small adition to the chaos³ drop, and maybe you could build on these ideas more. Maybe, if you combine any food with salt it will give you one more food point. Maybe, you can just turn gunpowder into an ore. Idk
