I already wrote about this in a comment > They need to add a inbetween block like an ore that shares both of these (sulfur and cinnabar) because the way it is currently generating they stand out too much and it makes the new block feel out of place. When you mine this ore you get both sulfur and cinnabar! Also perhaps some other stonetypes should be added in, did a quick search:

> Sulfur is frequently found in sedimentary rocks, especially in association with cinnabar, realgar, and native mercury.
Some of these are already there in game.
Something else: there should be lava generating around or at least underneath it because that is where sulfur is found most commonly. There also should be hot springs generating now and perhaps volcanoes. If the Minecraft team wants to go the extra mile add deepsea pillow lava, hydrothermal vents, and seamounts into the deep oceans!
I would love to see some more cavetypes like frozen caves with icicles that would fall and regrow as long as there is packed or blue ice above them. More crystal or gem caves would be amazing and maybe some mobs that come with it like gem encrusted crabs.
The caves and cliffs update was a good start and I hope it will be continued!
