
The Adventurer is a neutral villager variant dressed for exploration. They spawn at a low natural rate in Deserts, Jungles, and Badlands (which I still instinctively call Mesa). Occasionally, they may rest in villages during their travels.
If attacked, they defend themselves with a stone sword. Their health is slightly higher than a villager but lower than a Pillager.
Instead of normal trades, they offer exploration services:
Desert & Jungle (Emerald-based)
- 5 Emeralds: Fight alongside the player for a limited time.
- 8 Emeralds: Guide the player to the nearest Desert Pyramid or Jungle Temple.
If no structure is found, they return most emeralds but keep 1–2 as a small travel fee.
Badlands Variant (Supply-based)
Instead of emeralds, they request Water Bottles or Bread (5–8).
In return, they assist in combat or guide the player to a small hidden stash containing a few Gold Blocks.
Biome details:
- Desert: Rides a Camel
- Jungle: Has a Parrot on their shoulder
- Badlands: Travels alone
This mob encourages biome exploration and adds a dynamic, story-like interaction to the overworld while keeping a simple vanilla feel.
