Dear users, another successful Minecraft Live has come and gone, and while the new drop Chaos Cubed is exciting, it could benefit from a few expanded features. As you enter this new cave, there should be a striking visual of yellow‑green particles drifting through the air, paired with custom biome music. Inside, players could encounter new creatures such as the Sulfur Slime, Cinnabar Slime, Sulfur Spider, Cinnabar Spider, and Mercury Spider.
The cave would also include two new ore‑cluster structures—clumped cinnabar with sprouting cinnabar buds, and clumped sulfur with sprouting sulfur buds. Breaking clumped sulfur, sulfur buds, or sulfur blocks would drop sulfur dust, which could be used for various crafting purposes, including re‑crafting the original blocks. Cinnabar would function the same way.
Instead of water, the biome would feature pools of acid with geothermal vents releasing gas. Acid would be extremely dangerous: it would corrode armor first, then begin harming the player directly. With these new resources, players could craft two new TNT variants—Sulfur TNT, which creates a large gas cloud and a small explosion, and Cinnabar TNT, which produces a massive explosion with minimal gas.
This biome should also include a rare mini‑boss: the Mercury Spider, an aggressive mob with a 25% chance to drop one of two music discs—the Sulfur disc or the Cinnabar disc. Combining both discs would create the Mercury music disc. Below, I will explain each feature in more detail below.
