Additional integrations for Sulfur

This year's Minecraft Live 2026 was very exciting for many upcoming games, experiences and features. The future addition of the Sulfur caves, new block sets and Sulfur Cube caught my attention particularly. While Sulfur as a block has much potential, further exploring it's innovation as an item could be game changing! Let's brainstorm some connective ideas towards other systems in Minecraft.

• Sulfur Dust
• not placable, 9 to make a Sulfur block, a balanced recipe could be made to craft gunpowder (for peaceful), used in brewing for nausea potions, pale yellow armor trims
• Sulfur is naturally used to enhance fertilizer, Super Bone Meal item, won't grow mushrooms
• Sulfur is an effective fungicide used to eliminate mycelium

What would happen if the Sulfur Cube eats or spawns with one of the Sulfur or Cinnabar blocks? It could become "potent" or bigger. Touching the Sulfur Cube in this state would deal contact damage. This could inspire players to try feeding it other blocks, by shearing it to shrink it. Its noted this hazy red and yellow biome should be explored carefully but these features would increase the depth, connectivity and reason to come back time and time again.
