Sulfur Caves are not very useful

The sulfur cube is a cool mob and has some interesting properties, but I think it and the sulfur and cinnabar blocks are not enticing enough for me to actually want to go searching for a sulfur cave. Possibly, the potent sulfur could offer a use in crafting. Real world sulfur is flammable and is a key ingredient in gunpowder, as well, it is used in fertilizers and dyes. A stronger TNT, or even a 'thruster' (not in a literal sense) for the happy ghast could be cool. Possibly a use for fertilizing crops for faster growth, or a new use for dyes could be interesting as well. Cinnabar as a decorative block makes sense, but only as long as the sulfur is useful in some way. The concept for a sulfur cave system is great, but it needs to offer some use other than the sulfur cube, which in of itself, is not very useful.
