Hostile Mob in Sulfer Caves

This new mob (I'm not sure of its name) would look like a giant frog with stone covering its skin. It would have 30 health and an insatiable appetite for sulfur cubes, and would attack by jumping at you. Due to its rocky body, it has 80% defense--a level of protection equal to that of diamond armor! As such, your weapons will do little to affect it.

So how do you defeat it efficiently? You feed sulfur cubes blocks that deal damage, such as cacti and magma, and then get this new mob to eat them. Since it doesn't have rocks covering it inside, it takes the full damage from the blocks! (Ideally, sulfur cubes with tnt inside would explode when this mob eats them.)
