Sulfur interaction with TNT

Instead of just adding better TNT, it would be more interesting if, after placing potent sulfur near TNT before igniting it, resulting explosion would be stronger but directed in the direction in which sulfur was placed relatively to TNT. For example, if TNT was placed next to northern face of TNT, after ignition, explosion will be directed to the north and will be stronger then normal TNT.
