option to turn of dynamic models on chests?

Can we have an option to turn of dynamic models on chests? it would drastically improve fps in storage rooms where you have a lot of chest. You would lose the animation of the lid opening and closing but that would be a sacrifice i gladly would make for having a smoother running game.
