Don't Make String Opaque by Default

on 26.1 snapshot 3, the alpha cutout for string defeats the main purpose of the string, being invisible, replacement of the translucent texture of string will ruin a lot of people's builds overnight if actually implemented, if it's for accessibility purposes, add it as a resource pack or a an accessibility menu setting.

  I really like the idea of adding it as a setting in the visuals tab. You could do something like increase visibility, maybe for stuff like lichens too, make the texture more obvious like they did with string (should it be an accessibility thing)
