- In Bedrock Edition, the offhand is currently very limited compared to Java Edition. I believe it would greatly improve gameplay if Bedrock also had a proper offhand slot.
- How it could work:
- A new slot appears on the left side of the hotbar, just like in Java Edition.
- Players can double-click items to swap them between the main hand and offhand.
- The right hand remains the main hand. For example, if both hands hold blocks, only the right-hand block would be placed.
- An extra control button could allow players to use both hands independently. This way, a player could swing a mace with one hand while throwing a wind charge with the other, or mine with a pickaxe in the right hand while placing blocks with the left hand.
- Why this is important:
- It would bring Bedrock Edition closer to Java Edition, making gameplay more consistent across platforms.
- It adds more combat and building flexibility.
- It gives players better control and creativity during fights, exploration, and building.
