I have been hosting and managing a multiplayer Minecraft server running bedrock for almost three years. I learned the importance of having rules in a server with around 100 - 200 whitelisted players. Sadly, there are always those who cheat and grief. Catching them is not easy. They give everyone a worse gaming experience in Minecraft.
So I want to suggest In-Game Moderation Tool with the following features:
• To enable the In-Game Moderation tool, the owner should toggle the "Moderation" under game settings. Enabling it should not disable Achievements. When enabled, the owner may assign other players with the new "Moderator" role who can "moderate players" and "inspect players."
• To moderate players, the moderator should check the list of online players and view the profile of a player. A button labeled with "Detect launcher or modification" is shown. Clicking it will send a silent push notification to the player, triggering the detection of installed or running launcher or modification (e.g., Toolbox). The result is shown.
• To inspect a player, the moderator should go near a player and see a button labeled with "Inspect". When clicked. the player's inventory will show in "view-only". Ender chest can also be inspected, like in MCC Toolchest.
The above features are enough to prevent players from cheating and griefing. Server admins help expand the gaming community of Minecraft. So I hope that Minecraft can also help them promote fair play, foster building, and protect builders.
