Tamable penguins!

Cute penguins that spawn on the ice within the frozen ocean and deep frozen ocean biomes. You can take them with either raw salmon or cod. They become a cute little companion for your journeys. They can hold items for you. (One at a time) And give the player a swim speed boost if nearby, but only if fed! They make cute sounds and are very friendly creatures. They can even slide on their bellies on the ice just like in real life! They follow you unless they are sat down. They are bred using raw salmon or cod, then lay eggs that take 3 in-game days to hatch! You can also pick them up and can even and the player can pet them too once tamed. Just something small to spice up the cold climate!2
