Currently, both the feedback forums and bug tracker are on a website. This works alright for players using a computer, however it does not work that well when on a mobile device or when on a console. As well as this there are some issues with the website itself which decentivize the use of the offical websites and indirectly encourage the use of alternative platforms such as Reddit[A]
[A]-The problems with the feedback sites that encourage use of 3rd party alternatives are;
Lack of visibility for posts, post that are made are unlikely to be seen by those who don’t search for a specific post, look at the post by a link from a 3rd party site or when they are creating a post themselves. It is fairly uncommon for people to be looking through the sorting system on the site as it is not as effective as reddit.
Post rules and mod comments are typically hard to resolve as a post could be closed for being inactive, not being clear enough, a simple misunderstanding of the post, or put as a duplicate to an older similar post that has been resolved without the bug being noticed as a current bug because of its similarities.
An app for all, if not most platforms, that would make it easy and effective to post, browse community posts, communicate ideas, receive feedback and accomplish what both of the websites do in an effective and easy to use way, it would help the process of giving feedback and bug reports and ultimately encourage community interaction for the game.
