Enable 120 FPS Support for iOS ProMotion and Next-Gen Consoles (PS5/Xbox)

Problem: Current Minecraft Bedrock versions on iOS (ProMotion) and next-gen consoles (PS5/Xbox Series X) are hard-capped at 60 FPS. This is despite the hardware (M-series chips and modern GPUs) being fully capable of much higher performance. Why it’s needed: Consistency: High-end Android and Windows versions already support 120+ FPS. Input Latency: 120 FPS significantly reduces touch and controller latency, making the game feel more responsive and modern. Hardware Utilization: Players have invested in ProMotion iPads/iPhones and 120Hz displays specifically for this level of performance. Request: Please unlock the frame rate cap or add a "Performance Mode" toggle in the Video Settings that allows for 120 FPS output on supported devices.

    I also agree as whilst playing on a bigger screen, the higher refresh rate will be much suitable to play with

    I'm really looking forward to adding a higher frame rate to iOS, it's hard to play the game, my eyes hurt

    Not sure how long something this simple is going to take… 60Hz in PvP feels really bad.

    The reason they haven't done this yet is to keep devices from overheating, which significantly decreases battery life and is bad for lithium i-on batteries, but newer devices. and gaming phones like redmagic, are more than capable, so i do agree they should add an option tp enable 120 hz

    This has somehow been an issue for years. As far as I know, this wouldn't be a challenging change to implement, and would only be a net-positive for people who play on these devices. Thats why we have the FPS slider, so people who want to keep 60 FPS for battery life can do so, alongside console players who want the 120 FPS experience they paid for.

    Let people decide wether they want battery life or choose better refresh rates, its a waste we paid money but not get the benefits of what our devices can handle and do, people who play Minecraft on IOS know the benefits and negative consequences but it should be our decision wether to choose better battery life or higher refresh counts/rates. Mojang pls do add 120 fps to iOS promotion devices
