Problem: Current Minecraft Bedrock versions on iOS (ProMotion) and next-gen consoles (PS5/Xbox Series X) are hard-capped at 60 FPS. This is despite the hardware (M-series chips and modern GPUs) being fully capable of much higher performance.
Why it’s needed:
Consistency: High-end Android and Windows versions already support 120+ FPS.
Input Latency: 120 FPS significantly reduces touch and controller latency, making the game feel more responsive and modern.
Hardware Utilization: Players have invested in ProMotion iPads/iPhones and 120Hz displays specifically for this level of performance.
Request: Please unlock the frame rate cap or add a "Performance Mode" toggle in the Video Settings that allows for 120 FPS output on supported devices.
