I would like to suggest adding gyroscope (motion control) support for mobile devices (iOS/Android) in Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
Currently, moving the camera relies solely on touch input—dragging the screen to look around. While functional, it often feels imprecise, especially in fast-paced situations like fighting mobs or in PvP. Adding gyroscope controls would allow players to tilt or rotate their devices to aim and look around, similar to how many modern shooters and games work on mobile.
Why this would improve the game:
1. Precision & Comfort: Fine-tuning your aim (e.g., for bow shooting) or making small adjustments while building would be much smoother and more intuitive.
2. Immersive Experience: Physically turning your device to look around makes exploring caves or building structures feel more immersive.
3. Competitive Edge: For players engaged in minigames or PvP on servers, gyro aiming can offer faster and more accurate camera movement than touch alone
· A toggle in Settings > Touch to enable/disable gyroscope controls (so players who prefer only touch can keep it off).
· An option to adjust the sensitivity of the gyroscope.
· It should work seamlessly with the existing touch controls (e.g., you can still use the joystick to move while tilting the device to look).
Many mobile games have successfully implemented this feature, and I believe it would greatly enhance the quality of life for Minecraft players on phones and tablets. Thank you for considering this idea
