The original PC version of Minecraft was originally called just "Minecraft".
Today, both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition are sold together in the Minecraft Launcher, where the versions are already clearly separated.
Because of this, the "Java Edition" subtitle on the title screen may no longer be necessary. The launcher already shows which version the player is launching.
It would make sense if the title screen simply displayed "Minecraft", just like Bedrock Edition does.
This would make both versions feel like the same game again, while still being differentiated inside the launcher.
