Raw redstone/redstone crystals

Instead of redstone ore dropping Redstone Dust directly, mining Redstone Ore could drop a new item just called redstone

Players would then process this Redstone (for example by smelting, crushing, or another method) to turn it into Redstone Dust.

How it could work

Mining Redstone Ore drops Redstone instead of redstone dust

Fortune increases the amount of Redstone dropped

Processing Redstone produces multiple Redstone Dust(around 4)

Why this would be good for the game

Makes redstone consistent with the modern ore system

Adds a small but interesting extra step to resource processing

Creates new opportunities for automation and factory builds

Expands gameplay for technical and engineering-focused players

Adding a base before the dust and ore, Redstone would help modernize the redstone system while also opening the door for new automation ideas and gameplay possibilities.
