Good and bad about Minecraft Realms

The Minecraft Realms are a nice service and the setup is easy enough. I like mostly, that it is an easy way to play with some friends and I find it understandable, that it is limited to 10 persons. 
But here come things, that I find annoying and that is the inability to change settings, especially the render distance. Minecraft Realms is one of the more expensive services on the internet for Minecraftserver and it should be possible to edit it more. 
Same goes for subsciptions. There is as far as I know only 1 price. I would understand, if bigger servers would take a bigger fee, as the additional resources are understandably a bit more expensive. 

So all in all: I like this service because it is easy to use. But it really needs the ability to edit more on the server, specially the render distance, as many minecraftplayer I know have the habit of building huge projects in this game, and for people with more friends also some more subscriptionoptions.
