Taming and Summoning
Summoned by defeating the dragon 20 times. After beating the dragon 20 times, the next time an attempt at summoning the dragon is made the end crystals will explode after the beams go up into the sky. The Bloodsiphon will then float down (an untamed blood siphon will be surrounded in a slight mist of red particles) and start attacking the player. The bloodsiphon’s tail spike has a special power; it can pierce armour. It will deal 1 heart of damage to the player every second. It has to eat 50 of the player’s hearts to be properly tamed. The player must withstand the attack and stay alive, which can be done by using health potions or golden apples. If the Bloodsiphon is damaged during the taming process, the tame will be unsuccessful. This helps prevent the farming of them on pvp servers.
Transportation. It will pick the player up with it’s tail and increase in flight speed. It will also use up food as it flies. It will increase in food usage until it eats 8 food per second. This means in 8 seconds it will eat one stack of food. It will increase in speed going from 10 blocks per second for 1 food per second to 50 or 100 blocks per second for 10 food per second. Once the Bloodsiphon has run out of food, it will start eating the player. It will deal 1 heart per second, like in taming.
Once the Bloodsiphon is not being used by the player, it will become an unsustained Bloodsiphon. This will turn grey with black wings, black eyes and a black tailspike.
