These structures can occur at any biome. These structures are large cylindrical holes with a width of 10-30 that go all the way down to bedrock, that generate high densities of gold, ancient debris, and even new items such as molten gold or mantle blocks at the bottom. These are called nether cores because not only do they reach the deepest in the nether, but are also used in real life called core samples. Another ruined structure will even sit near the top of these cores made up of a mix of nether bricks, blackstone, chains and lanterns which could hint on lore on how these cores were made in the first place.
