The Curse Of Titan Peaks

I bought this map, but it glitches in the first scene and you cannot play the story or leave the spawn area. It was a waste of money. Is there anything I can do to be able to play the map? I assume getting my money back is impossible so I'd at least like to play the game I bought, you know? It looks interesting for sure but not worth the money until they fix it.
