Updated “Create New World” experience in Bedrock Beta

The latest Bedrock Beta (1.18.20.20) introduces a redesigned Create New World experience. If you have the conditions met to try it, you’ll be able to opt-in from the Create New World screen. We’ve still got some work to do, but we wanted to give you an early look at what we’re building. 

If you can see it, we’d love to hear your thoughts on this new design! Let us know in the comments — what do you think?

    The new UI is amazing, it's neat and clean. Although there's a little bit of delay(maybe it's because of the game or my phone, I don't know) it's amazing tho

    Pretty neat desing although it feels like I have to scroll too much to find things and sometimes I get lost but overall better than the last one.

     

    Edit: when putting creative cheats aren't turned on automatically which is a shame because it feels like I got my credentials revoked.

    The new UI is really beautiful. I loved how smooth and dynamic it is for players, as well as being very organized.

    It's clean and smooth, and works wonders on android.
    I can't think of anything to make it better.

    Edit: now that i think about there is one change, the font size makes you scrool too far down to find things.

    Cheats are no longer auto enabled when gamemode is set to creative and I can't tell if this is intentional, but I believe this should return to the original functionality.

    I feel like you have to scroll a lot to find the advanced options, I prefer that it is next to the option to create a world

    Overall the design is very cool and a large improvement. However, I do think that the simulation distance works better as a slider (how it was) vs. a drop down menu (new design). Other than that, everything is great!

    New screen looks really good, and replacing sliders with separate buttons for stuff like the Simulation Distance was a good idea. Some problems I've encountered include: new screen takes a while to load, toggle animations are locked to a low framerate and don't change depending on screen refresh rate, and many buttons don't have any sounds when clicked.

    The whole "Create world UI" is OP and clean but it would be amazing if we can get the slider for render distance and simulation distance instead of some fixed amounts. I know you can't get higher than your device can handle but some devices can handle upto 96 or more chunks so therefore it will be good to have custom slider instead of fixed numbers.

    I Love it! Though I have one tiny issue with it that isn't a bug but a something that should be added. I hope the whole UI gets updated to look something like this but I do hope you add in the Seed Library from the old UI and with some new seeds with it! Other than that it's pretty Slick and clean and Very New user Friendly!

    The cheats menu's daylight cycle options could use some expansion with at least one more option for Always Night with potentially an additional two for sunrise and sunset.

    (portuguese) acho que na parte das sementes faltou a opção de sementes personalizadas, como a selva épica, que quando você escolhe ela você nasce em uma selva... mas de resto, está perfeito.

    1.Please remove the chest lag/ inventory delay which happens when opening chests in succesion.

    2. Add options to change perspective and FOV at TOP of the settings while in a world.

    The new UI is great! A massive improvement over the previous bedrock UI. My biggest gripe is that the text seems to have some kind of blurring or anti-aliasing, which kind of looks wrong with Minecraft's ultra-blocky font. This could be due to the low resolution of my device's screen, however (720p, yikes). Thanks to all who have played a role in this effort, and keep up the great work!

    The new Ui is perfect i haven't had any delay problems i love how it's set up very compact and organized, it's very well done! There not much scrolling like how it used to be which is nice! Now we just need a new ui for where you see all your world! Good job mojang!!!

    I'm really happy that we can access cheats now in bedrock edition I've been wanting this as a feature for a very long time since I started playing java edition please keep this as a feature and add all the possible damages like drowning fire freeze fall damage I won love to see this in next week's beta and entity cramming threshold aswell as the feature of the game rules/cheats
