Ok so creepers are scared of cats right? Well, logically it should be the sound as well, so if a parrot is behind, let's say, a door, and there's a cat nearby, it makes a cat noise and the creeper would run! I know that creepers run from the cat entity, but from an in-universe point of view, even the sound of a cat would scare them, even if they saw the parrot.
