It's time to overhaul horse breeding

Problem

The present horse breeding mechanics are a source of endless frustration for those of us who love fast horses.

Due to the *average the parents' stats with a random 'third horse'* mechanism it is nearly impossible to successfully breed for speed.  Well, you can, but that involves trialing endless horses and culling the vast majority.  Where culling is a nice word for murdering a dozen slower offspring for every fast one.

Proposal
Change horse breeding so that the foal inherits each stat from one or the other parent, plus/minus a small random increment

or

Change horse breeding so that the foal inherits the average of the parents' stats, plus/minus a small random increment.
