Allays come from the aether

Maybe (like ruined portals) you could find a floating island in the sky with some other islands surrounding it, with the main island having a (deactive) portal in it with the surrounding islands haveing glowing trees like the aether, or wherever the portals from is spilling out,

the allays would be found here and maybe since the player can go to the aether the allays, like cats, would bring new building blocks from the "aether" making them more useful and giving you blocks to build with
