A way to turn Slimes into Magma cubes?

With the new Froglights being shown in the recent beta relative to this post, I believe it would be helpful if we were to also obtain a way to get magma cubes in the overworld? Perhaps when a slime dies to a magma block or lava? or something to do with potions? I do not know a proper way for this to occur, I just believe it to be a cool concept!

    Maybe the slime could transform into magma cubes like zombie changes to drowned, basically if the slime swims in lava for long enough (slimes won't die anymore), boom a magma cube appears
