Redstone dust can be placed on chains/conductible chains

I think it will be cool to make chains have redstone functionality, or more specifically, act as a wire of sorts. By placing redstone dust onto chains or crafting conductible chains using redstone and chain (maybe even with slime/honey), the chain will become susceptible to redstone power from powered blocks and will power whatever block the powered chain ends at with the power left over. Redstone chains will be very efficient for vertical redstone, and it also makes for some cool aesthetics (imagine igniting TNT or lighting redstone lamps hanging from chains).
