Today I reported a bug. It is a small bug, that i thought it would be nice reporting because it would improve the game to have it fixed. To report it, I had to:
-Log in with my mojang/microsoft account
-Download Google's app for two factor authentication (thank god I have a phone, and I had it charged and turned on and in hands reach, because if not, I wouldn't be able to report)
-Scan a QR code
-Enter a code that changes every 60 seconds
-Look at the page for a long time to realize there is a small gray button on the top of the page saying "create", and realize it must be for create a new issue report.
-When I created it, I had to go back to minecraft to see which Java and Optifine version I'm using and enter the saves folder to see what datapacks I had installed.
The Mojang team always reminds us over on Twitter to report the bugs, and I would love to, if the reporting was a LOT simpler. I had to download an app to simply report a bug!
It would be great if the game simply passes your launcher account session over to the page, and it also passes a log of what I was doing ingame before I pressed the report button (maybe this could be optional, I don't know) but it's really frustrating trying to do what we are supposed to do and find that the page is almost designed to make us desist.
