When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Piston extend distance based on redstone power level.

As we know redstone has power levels from 0 - 15. What if pistons only extended their entire 1 block reach if receiving full 15 power and incrementally less as each power level decreases? I know it would break some current contraptions, but most of the "copy paste" designs I've seen have the pistons directly powered anyway. This could add the ability to design stairs with smaller steps (edit: and smaller details in walls by pushing blocks out a small amount) and potentially a change up and addition of new farm designs (maybe another method for mob sorting by hitbox?)
