The Aye-aye is an animal that is endangered, it is a bit creepy, but I think Minecraft needs more of that. It lives in Madagascar. Its ears those of bats and its tail that of squirrels. It would live in trees and taps on trees to find grubs, then gnaws holes in the wood using its forward-slanting incisors to create a small hole into which it inserts its narrow middle finger to pull the grubs out. It would add grubs to the game, which would let us make bait for fishing rods that would increase the chance of getting fish. With that, we could also add new rare fish to catch by using this bait. They are also nocturnal, meaning they would only get the grubs at night, making it a bit of a challenge to get with all the surrounding mobs. During the day, they sleep in nests constructed out of leaves, branches and vines. In real life the aye-aye commonly eats grubs, seeds, nuts, fruits, nectar, plant exudates and fungi. Aye-ayes tap on the trunks and branches of trees at a rate of up to eight times per second, it could be used as a sound to tell players that it is near, but it should not be loud because it would disturb players a bit too much. It could also be used for Redstone with the skulk sensor.
