Counter for how many hours you have played minecraft

I played bedrock for a long time and i would always watch how long i have played the game over the years but now i have switched to java and that feature isnt there. Maybe you guys could add an hour counter to the minecraft launcher?

  If this does get added, I'd like an option to turn it off, too; watching the counter go up might give me some distress.
