For the new Wild Update I thought of this idea that could add a fun new location to explore and add to the immersion of the world! One of my personal favorite thing to do in games and in real life is to explore old ruins and forgotten places of the world. And while we have the underground Mineshaft and Dungeons, I thought what about in the wilds of Minecraft? Why not have some old ruins that could spawn above ground in the wilds of biomes which could be up to the players to come up with its ancient history and why it is there?
For this idea it be a set of a few building types that could spawn in certain biomes (Mountains, Redwood forests, forests, deserts, ect) which ever the Minecraft team think fits best. These building types would perhaps be a ruined watch tower (Stone and mixed with mossy stone bricks, cobblestone, stone, and other stone blocks and look like it has been collapsed and forgotten for a long time. Another could be an old mine entrance, a ruined set of buildings, and then some that are so far gone its hard to tell what they are. They would be rare and have some loot in some old chests connected to them (Perhaps a good place to add in Archeology too! Loved that idea), and maybe the team could work on a theme similar to the treasure maps of sunken ships. Such as an artifact piece you may find, and when you have enough you can craft a cool useful item, weapon, or set of armor! I think this idea would add a lot to exploring the new biomes of the Wild update!
