Unique Wolf Types For Different Biomes

    I know that many players want different dog breeds in the game and I think I have come up with a solution in a way. In any snowy biomes we can have the regular grey/white wolf that we have in the game. In oak, birch, and plains we could have a brown wolf which when tamed will stay brown. And finally, in dark oak forest, and taiga biomes we could have a black wolf which when tamed will stay black. There are different colored wolves in real life and I think it would nice to have different colored wolves in game as well. This can also solve the need for different breeds of dogs in the game even though there wouldn’t be a whole bunch of new wolf/dog types it would still partially solve the problem. They can also be given special drops if there is a need to have such a thing. Maybe brown wool for the brown wolves and black wool for the black wolves. There could also be white wool which would drop from the normal wolf in game already. If anybody likes my ideas I also have a couple more for some other animals/biomes I would like to see in the game as well. Thanks for reading.

    I reckon this could be a good idea. I like the idea of different wolves in different biomes, and maybe if they jump in dyed water their fur gets dyed too?

    Dog beds would be so cute.

    Well not just solid colors but patterns like the horses. Grey with black back. Brown with white/light undersides. There's tons of wild dogs and colorations to look at besides wolves. Cream/yellow like dingos for mesa/desert biomes. Reddish brown like the African red wolf.

    It'd just literally be a re-skin but then they aren't having to "make" a new mob, just recode the original.

    I'd imagine it's be a little cleaner than having to replicate what was done with ocelots and cats. (But I wouldn't know)
