Mesa Quarry

The mesa biomes is known for its common mineshafts. What if there was a variant of above ground mineshaft called a quarry? The quarry would be around 10-15 blocks deep from the bottom to the top. It would have bridges going across to each side and would have chests attached to chains hanging from the bridges (kind of like an old pulley system) and would have iron, gold, redstone, lapis, and maybe even diamonds! I think players would love this addition to mesa biomes because it adds more character to them and gives them a story of being old mining settlements.
