We already know whatever sculk is feeds off of the corpses of mobs, so what if a bit of sculk substance entered into a sort of symbiotic relationship with zombies? They're already rotting, so they'd make a good food source, while the zombies gained protection from any travelers looking to slice them in two from the Wardens.
Sculk zombies would move quite a bit slower than normal zombies, and could probably have a big toothy mouth on their torso. When they get hit, the mouth screeches and acts similarly to a Sculk Shrieker. This would only activate once. They would, in a way, encourage a similar reaction to Wardens, wherein players run away rather than directly engaging, the difference with sculk zombies being that they aren't blind and can pursue the player for a much longer time.
Even if none of anything I just described gets in, I would still love sculk zombies in the game.
