What about cats?

We all know about the relatively recent update for dogs, with new colors and armor added.
 But what about cats? Let's add new species, various mechanics, and various cosmetics.
 For example, sleep. Cats spend a lot of time sleeping, namely:
Kittens: 20-22 hours a day.
Adult cats (1-7 years): 12-16 hours.
Senior cats (8-10 years): 14-20 hours. So why don't cats get some rest in Minecraft?

Cats don't have enough colors.
Colors aren't just for cats,
 but also for other mobs with varied patterns on their fur or skin.
 But for now, we're only talking about cats.
 Why not make the patterns randomly generated?
 That is, initially, the entire cat, except for the muzzle, would be painted one color,
 and then the cat is given a specific decoration of colors and patterns that match the cat's main color.
 In general, I think cats and other mobs need a major update.
