When a player visits the stronghold, mobs aren't that much of a challenge as long as you're prepared. That's why i think there should be a special type of mob generating in the stronghold, like the skeleton guardians.
Skeleton guardians would be mobs that would spawn in the strongholds and would start off as statues. As the player comes closer, they would activate and turn into real mobs.
Equipment: Skeleton guardians would be equipped with full enchanted netherite armor with Protection IV and would have enchanted bows with Flame, Power V, and Punch V. Skeleton guardians would have a 50% chance to shoot an arrow of blindness and a 50% chance to shoot an arrow of decay.
Variants: There would be a rare variant of these skeleton guardians that would be wither skeletons having enchanted netherite swords with Sharpness IV and Fire aspect II.
Spawning: 4 statues would spawn in every room of the stronghold (including stairways or hallways).
Drops: Skeleton guardians can drop any piece of their armor, drop arrows of blindness or arrows of decay (Making a way to get the arrow of decay in survival on Bedrock Edition) and/or their bow.
Wither skeleton guardians can drop any piece of their armor and/or their sword.
