The devs don't want the Warden to break blocks, but then people can just cheese it with a bow...many think that the Warden should break blocks, so here I have a solution:
Skulk Convertion
When the Warden can sense the player, but can't pathfind it, because it's too high or in a too small space, he will do an animation, and will use some of its souls to convert the block sourranding it in Skulk Blocks
Skulk Absorbing and Breaking
The only block that the Warden will be able to break, it's the Skulk Blocks, and by doing this, the Warden will actually heal itself by 1 heart for each skulk block broken
Skulk Teleporting
If a player gets too far away from the Warden, but he can still sense and there are enough Skulk Blocks spawned in the area, then the Warden will be re-absorbed into the Skulk, and will reappear where the Skulk Blocks are near the player
I think these mechanics will make the Warden more challenging and funny, but also creepier
