Attracting Villagers

When holding a single emerald villagers that have trades that require emeralds will follow you but quickly lose interest when they realize it's just a single emerald but when holding 1-64 emerald block/s they will always follow you, insisting that you trade with them. Villagers could also get agitated and lose interest if they follow you for too long. To balance this they could ignore you for a few minutes and not follow you until then despite swapping back to the emerald/emerald blocks.

    What’s the purpose of this I get that they would follow you but there are already a ton of ways to already do that

    Seriously? So you're saying there should only be one or two ways to do a certain task?
    It's just an idea on top of already existing ways to do something.
