New launcher so that it can be added to steam library

Can you make it so the new launcher can be added to steam library without 3rd party app?

Or so that the old launcher won't scream: "Use this new launcher!!! Also Microsoft store!"
It feels very forced.

  This might not be done, As minecraft isn't an steam app
