    You know how a pillager can run out of arrows when you use a shield?

    Perhaps if you deflect all of a pillagers arrows and they become unhostile you can give them a golden apple and they become a villager.

    This is now a meme that has been taken out of context. When you search "can you turn pillagers into villagers," the result is this page, and the second sentence is the immediate answer on google. Just look up that exact sentence, you'll see what I'm talking about 🤣

    I like it, but I thought about a different way. I think illagers (excepted witches ) should be also attacked by zombies. But if a zombie "kill" an illager, this one would become a zombie villager that become a normal villager if cured ( like if he were grateful and forgot his evilness). Anyway, as illagers are armed, it would be hard and unusual for zombies to kill illagers.

    It messes with the lore a bit, because Illagers aren’t like zombies. They were born that way, so it wouldn’t make sense. For ravagers and maybe vindicators, different story. Ravagers aren’t technically Illagers and a theory is that they were villagers turned into ravagers. It’s the same for vindicators.
