The idea of “Warped and Crimson Mooshrooms” is probably something that’s been suggested countless times at this point, but the idea could potentially work if executed properly. The Corrupted and Twisted Mooshrooms (Crimson and Warped respectively) would not spawn naturally, but as a result of player interference. Feeding any mooshroom either of them will cause them to shake for fifteen seconds (Similar to piglins and hoglins entering the overworld), and eventually turn into the respective form. They behave very similarly to regular mooshrooms, making distorted noises. The transformation could be reversed by shearing them, turning them back into the respective mooshroom they were before. Neither can be bred with normal or brown mooshrooms, but can be bred with each other by feeding them their respective mushrooms. Corrupted Mooshrooms would be milkable with a bucket to get lava, making them a quick renewable lava source, as opposed to waiting with dripstone. Corrupted Mooshrooms are also fireproof. Twisted Mooshrooms would instead be milked through a bowl, and give a new sort of stew (Still thinking of ideas here). They are not fireproof like their red counterparts, but can be used to scare away piglins and hoglins, just like a warped mushroom usually does. While just being simple easter egg mobs, both could offer cool benefits for the journey to get them and be nice additions as fauna and livestock.
