Account switching in the new launcher.

We should be able to add multiple Microsoft accounts to the new launcher, similar to the old one. Since I have different Microsoft accounts for Java and Bedrock, and I can't transfer info from one to another, this would be really nice. I don't see any point in using it until then.

    I completely agree.  The new launcher also signs you into Microsoft Office applications which I DO NOT WANT!

    It's super clumsy at the moment.
    You have to log out 1st account, log in with 2nd account through the popup-xbox-weirdness - often fetching one time code from your mailbox to do so, and then again if you want to switch back.
    And the launcher remembers only the current account.
    And in every turn you need to tell your windows in the background to take it easy even if the user changes. :(

    In the previous launcher I had a simple drop down menu where I just select the account I want to use. And I had to rarely do full login process, because it remembered my accounts and logins.

    Many players have "camera accounts" (Me included), There are siblings and families that play on the same computer.

    Something easier and more straight forward is absolutely needed.

    I would be happy to use the new launcher if I could log on to both of my accounts. Like the same system as the old launcher made it easy to switch accounts with one click instead of having to login every time.

    I have multiple migrated accounts I frequently switch between, and it is tedious to do so in the new launcher.  I feel as though this is not an edge case, and many people (including content creators that provide a lot of value to Minecraft) will have similar grievances, so I do have hope that changes will be implemented.

    Until then, the new launcher provides no benefits & lacks what is to me a necessary feature, so I do not intend to switch until this issue is addressed.

    Thank you for this post, and thank you to the developers for putting so much effort into the game over all these years.

    i have two kids and this is such a pain that we have to log out and in to switch accounts - terribly annoying! fix this like the old launcher!

    This new Account switching system is just trash. By the old Launcher was account switching so easy, now you have to login with xbox with the other account to play on it and many times it doesn't work switching accounts.

    I'm a developer of a multiplayer plugin and I need to test my features with several player connected to a dev server. Currently, I have 3 (bought) Microsoft accounts and I run 3 instances of Minecraft simultaneously to make my tests.
    Today, I'm not able to do this with the new Minecraft launcher because Microsoft just decided to remove account switching. So I still use the older one, but how long it will be maintained?
    Please implement this needed feature.
